Jessica started dancing at age 3 and started competing at age 6. She was a member of the Dream Team at The Dance Shoppe, and was invited to compete in solos, duets, small groups, and more. In 2004 the Dream Team became National Champions at Starpower Dance Competition, with choreography by Ray Leeper from SYTYCD. Jessica also had the opportunities to work with choreographer Mandy Moore from SYTYCD and choreographer Gregg Russell from Live to Dance.
Currently Jessica is training with professional cheerleaders. She enjoys performing in front of over 64,000 fans while being broadcast on national television. She has also had professional experience teaching competition level dance and assisting dance for many years.
Jessica also has skills in sewing and styling. She has previously won costume awards for costumes she sewed and designed. She even designed and sewed her own wedding dress.
Jessica lives in Richfield with her husband Jon and her pet Drezella. She loves teaching jazz, tap, and pointe at Studio Vibe. Her teaching style is fast paced and disciplined, but fun! She believes dance is both an art and a sport. Her favorite part about teaching is watching the students grow into young adults and talented dancers, and giving them a safe place to release the stresses of life.
